Ben Arbaugh has been a member of the faculty of the College of Business Administration of the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh since 1994. Some of his recent and forthcoming publications include articles in Academy of Management Learning & Education, Management Learning, Journal of High-Technology Management Research, Business Communication Quarterly, Journal of Management Education, The Internet and Higher Education, The New England Journal of Entrepreneurship, and the Journal of Management, Spirituality, and Religion.

Ben's recent research focus has been on the development and testing of conceptual frameworks of online management education effectiveness. His research in online learning has been awarded Academy of Management Division Best Paper Awards in 2001, 2002, and 2003, and was awarded the 2001 Roethlisberger Award for the best article in the 2000 volume of the Journal of Management Education. In addition to serving as AMLE's Book and Resource Reviews Editor, Ben is the MED Division Program Chair for the 2005 Academy of Management meetings and an editorial board member for the Journal of Management Education and Management Learning. His other research interests are in international entrepreneurship, the management of rapidly growing firms, the intersection between strategy and project management, and the intersection between spirituality and strategic management research.

Ben's present teaching activities are focused on graduate-level courses in project management, professional development, and strategic management, both in classroom and online learning environments. He designed and developed the courses for UW Oshkosh's MBA emphasis in Project Management. He has provided his expertise in online learning for a number of activities within the UW System, such as teaching in the UW Online MBA Consortium, developing Shareable Content Objects as part of a UW System FIPSE grant, and evaluating the Accelerated Online BSN program for UW-Oshkosh's College of Nursing.

He has a Ph.D. from Ohio State University, an MBA from Wright State University, and a BBA from Marshall University.
